Laminated

Laminated glass is a type of safety glass made by bonding two or more layers of glass with a transparent plastic interlayer, usually polyvinyl butyral (PVB). The layers are permanently joined using heat and pressure, creating a strong and durable material. When laminated glass breaks, the broken pieces remain attached to the plastic interlayer instead of scattering, reducing the risk of injury.
It also provides excellent sound insulation, blocks most harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays, and improves security by making it harder to penetrate. Laminated glass is widely used in automobile windshields, skylights, balconies, shop fronts, airports, banks, and high-rise buildings where safety is important. It also helps reduce noise pollution and protects interior furnishings from fading due to sunlight. Although laminated glass is more expensive than ordinary glass, its safety, durability, and protective features make it a preferred choice for residential, commercial, and industrial applications in modern construction and transportation.
